Tasman Global Access

Powering New Zealand's Connectivity Growth

The Tasman Global Access (TGA) submarine cable system is a critical trans-Tasman connectivity asset linking Australia and New Zealand with high-capacity, low-latency infrastructure. As one of the region's primary international routes, TGA provides direct access between key digital hubs while supporting the growing demand for cloud, content, and carrier connectivity across both markets.

Integrated into WaveSquared's optical network, TGA enables seamless connectivity between Australia's major data centre ecosystems and New Zealand's largest carrier and cloud interconnection hubs. Combined with access to the Hawaiki cable system, customers can leverage physically diverse subsea paths across the Tasman Sea, delivering enhanced resilience, greater network availability, and robust international connectivity throughout the region.
